HISTORY Appreciating the Past Like a gentle yet powerful force, Hope has the incredible ability to turn uncertainty into possibilities and adversity into strength. Let's look at how Hope has helped us grow through the years. 2005: BCF LEADERSHIP CHANGES Pastors Peter and Vera Morgan hand over the reigns of BCF to Pastors Jill and Randy Neilson where they have served until 2023. 1989: BCFC LEADERSHIP CHANGES Pastor Harvey Kiteley passes the torch to Pastor Susan Kiteley where she has served as the head until 2023. 1984: BCF COMPLETES THE BUILD Construction of the first BCF building in complete and the congregation has a new home! 1984: BCFC IS ESTABLISHED The small home Bible Study group has grown quite a bit and BCFC is established in the library of a local school. 1982: LAND FOR BCF Land is found where the Morgans can lay the foundations of a new Church Home. They purchase the land and construction begins in 1983. 1981: A HOME BIBLE STUDY STARTS Under the leadership of Pastor Harvey and Margaret Kiteley, a home Bible Study group was created with friends and family. 1980: BCF STARTS SMALL With a small start at John Knox Christian School, Peter & Vera Morgan launched Bramalea Christian Fellowship. As the congregation grows, they begin their search for land upon which they can build. Youth Ministry: ROCK YOUTH A NOTE TO PARENTS WELCOME TO ROCK YOUTTH We exist to offer rock solid hope for a rock solid generation. Rock Youth is the youth ministry of Hope City Brampton for Gr. 6-12 students (aged 10-18) Foster relationships with God and others through weekly services, small groups, winter retreats, and summer camp. Build resilience through student leadership, summer internship experience, and serving at church. Restore culture through friendship evangelism, school outreaches, and short-term mission trips. OUR MISSION We regularly meet on Fridays from 6:30 to 9 PM at Hope City Brampton. Friday nights consist of interactive games, musical worship, an encouraging message, and hot-topic discussion in small groups. It is a safe place to hang out and build relationships with a diverse group of high school students and adult leaders from across the city. HIGH SCHOOL (GR. 9-12) We meet regularly every Sunday during church services (9:00 am and 11:15 am). After musical worship, students are dismissed to a separate meeting room to engage in interactive games, Bible-centered curriculum from Orange, and small group discussions on relevant topics—all in a safe space to hang out and build relationships with a diverse group of middle school students and adult leaders from across the city. MIDDLE SCHOOL (GR. 6 - 8) We are commited to growth in our students.
