We exists to offer ROCK SOLID HOPE for a ROCK SOLID GENERATION
Rock Youth is the youth ministry of Hope City Brampton for Gr. 6-12 students (aged 10-18)
Rock Yth Ministry is not your typical gathering – it's a dynamic community crafted for young minds and hearts seeking purpose, connection, and impact.
Here, we're more than just a youth group; we're a movement, a tribe of individuals empowered to radiate God's love and hope in our worlds.
Our ministry goes beyond Sunday services and Friday hangouts; it's a space where faith takes root, leadership is nurtured, and authentic friendships flourish.
WHO WE ARE
1) Foster RELATIONSHIP with God and others through WEEKLY SERVICES, SMALL GROUPS, WINTER RETREATS & SUMMER CAMP
2) Build RESILIENCE through STUDENT LEADERSHIP, SUMMER INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE & SERVING AT CHURCH
3) RESTORE Culture through FRIENDSHIP EVANGELISM, SCHOOL OUTREACHES & SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIPS
OUR MISSION
Jr. High (Gr. 6-8) regularly meets every Sunday during services (9am/11:15am). After musical worship, they are dismissed to a separate meeting room to engage in interactive games, Bible-centred curriculum from Orange, and hot-topic discussion in small groups, all in a safe place to hangout and build relationship with a diverse group of middle school students and adult leaders from across the city
JUNIOR HIGH (GR. 6 - 8)
Sr. High (Gr. 9-12) regularly meets on Fridays @ 7-9PM at Hope City Brampton. Friday nights consist of interactive games, musical worship, an encouraging message and hot-topic discussion in small groups, all in a safe place to hangout and build relationship with a diverse group of high school students and adult leaders from across the city.
SENIOR HIGH (GR. 9 - 12)
A Mentality of Service
Remember that vital force we mentioned? It's not just a box to tick; it's about dedicating yourself to something greater. You were born a blessing, so why not share that blessing with others? By investing your time, gifts, and talents in service, you embody God's presence all around us, ready to impact lives.
Encouraging a mentality of service is fundamental to our Rock Yth community. We believe in unleashing the innate power within each individual to make a positive impact on the world. Through various service opportunities, you discover the joy of selfless giving and the transformative effect it has on both the giver and the receiver.
We also equip you with practical tools and guidance, empowering you to become active contributors to your community. Engaging in acts of service, you don't just apply biblical principles but also cultivate a compassionate and empathetic outlook that lasts a lifetime.
Crafting Leaders
At Rock Yth, we're not just talking about leadership; we're creating leaders who embody rock-solid hope. We get that life can be tricky, but here's the deal: you don't have to follow the crowd. When things get tough, and everyone's heading left, remember, going right is the way to go. Leadership, for us, is about knowing what's right, choosing it, and living it out. We're here to give you practical wisdom from the Word and show how it works in your daily life.
