Transforming individuals & communities through Hope in Jesus.

OUR MISSION

To experience God, equip believers and serve those around us.

Through heartfelt worship, thoughtful reflection, and spiritual practices, we seek to facilitate moments of heavenly connection and personal revelation, fostering a rich experience of God's presence.

We provide resources, both spiritual and practical, to empower individuals on their faith journey. Through small groups, workshops, and intentional relationships, we ensure that believers are well-prepared and supported in their growth.

We actively engage in local outreach programs, community service projects, and initiatives addressing social needs.

Our members are encouraged to use their unique gifts and talents to make a positive impact, embodying the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness and compassion.

Through these endeavours, we aim to be a source of hope and support for those in our immediate and extended community.

HISTORY

Appreciating the Past

Like a gentle yet powerful force, Hope has the incredible ability to turn uncertainty into possibilities and adversity into strength. Let's look at how Hope has helped us grow through the years.

  • Pastors Peter and Vera Morgan hand over the reigns of BCF to Pastors Jill and Randy Neilson where they have served until 2023.

  • Pastor Harvey Kiteley passes the torch to Pastor Susan Kiteley where she has served as the head until 2023.

  • Construction of the first BCF building in complete and the congregation has a new home!

  • The small home Bible Study group has grown quite a bit and BCFC is established in the library of a local school.

  • Land is found where the Morgans can lay the foundations of a new Church Home. They purchase the land and construction begins in 1983.

  • Under the leadership of Pastor Harvey and Margaret Kiteley, a home Bible Study group was created with friends and family.

  • With a small start at John Knox Christian School, Peter & Vera Morgan launched Bramalea Christian Fellowship. As the congregation grows, they begin their search for land upon which they can build.

A KEY POINT FROM HISTORY

Land and Heritage

Hope City Church Brampton is honoured to serve the community on land that has been precious to many generations before us and are committed to preserving and sharing its history.

Collaboration over the years

Since taking the helm, Pastors Sue, Jill, and Randy have exemplified a collaborative spirit, consistently joining hearts and hands in service. Their commitment extends beyond the boundaries of their congregations, reaching into the wider community and mission fields.

Their authenticity has been a guiding light, illuminating a path of hope wherever they go. At Hope City Church, this legacy of dedicated service is not only preserved but flourishes even more powerfully.

Together, we amplify our impact, ensuring that the mission of spreading hope and light continues to resonate in the hearts of the congregation and beyond.

A New Thing

In the beautiful journey of forming Hope City Church, we are witnessing something truly remarkable. It's not about losing, but gaining—a larger family, more chances to bless others, and be blessed in return.

This transformation isn't just about us—it's about reaching further, and extending a hand to those who may not have the same privileges we do. It's a call to open our hearts wider, to welcome and assist those who seek solace and support.

In this new chapter, we discover the richness of our collective purpose—creating a space where love, compassion, and service are boundless, a beacon that extends beyond the walls of our church, touching lives and making a positive impact in the broader community.

Together, we are not just witnessing change; we are actively shaping a legacy of warmth, kindness, and welcome.

OUR VISION

A Church that boldy demonstrates God's Love.

We believe that God's love is most powerfully expressed when we extend a helping hand to the marginalized, provide support to the vulnerable, and actively contribute to the well-being of our community.

We recognize that love is not merely a sentiment but a tangible force that transforms lives. Through intentional acts of kindness, community outreach initiatives, and partnerships with local organizations, we actively engage in service projects that address the practical needs of those around us.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Statement of Faith

The Bible is the foundation of what we believe and how we live. Hope City Church is affiliated with Ministers Network Canada and adheres to their Statement of Faith.

LEADERSHIP

To lead is to serve others with care and diligence.

Our Leadership Team is dedicated to shaping the church's operations both within and beyond its walls. With a profound commitment to community outreach as a visible expression of God's boundless love, we aim to extend our impact far and wide. Our vision goes beyond traditional boundaries, seeking to create a lively and welcoming community that mirrors the unconditional love of God.
